Junaid Jamshed was a Pakistani musical artist, TV character, fashion designer, vocalist lyricist, preacher and revivalist. He did his graduation in engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (Lahore), then junaid temporarily worked as a civil engineer for the Pakistan Air Force previously concentrating on a music profession.

Junaid Jamshed primarily achieved countrywide fame and reputation also global fame as a band ‘Vital Signs’ singer of 1987 with the album ‘Vital Signs 1’. The famous songs ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ and ‘Tum Mil Gaye’ were in this album. The first achievement of Vital Signs’ was first collection built up Pakistan’s rock music industry.

Junaid Jamshed was born on 3rd Sep 1964 in Karachi, Pakistan. and His father name was the Jamshed Akbar, he was a Group Captain in the Pakistani Air Force. and mother name was Nafeesa Akber, she was the housewife.

His siblings were two brothers named Omer Jamshed and Humayun Jamshed, and he has a sister also named Muneeza Jamshed. His mainly hobbies were singing, traveling and swimming.

Then Junaid Jamshed moved to global boarding secondary school which was in Yanbu’ al Bahr in Saudi Arabia. He already had desired to link with the Pakistan Air Force to become a military pilot but he could not due to his weak eyesight.

Junaid did his degree from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore. He completed Bachelor of Science degree, graduating in mechanical engineering. Because of his father, Junaid got a chance by the PAF as a civilian contractor.

Junaid Jamshed Music Journey:

Junaid Jamshed band named Vital Signs began in the year 1986 with Keyboardist Rohail Hyatt and bassist Shahzad Hasan (Shahi). They both disconnected with Junaid Jamshed after some time. Then, they replaced him by a new engineering undergraduate from UET Lahore, as lead vocalist.

They began giving their performances in several portions of the state with holding a position in the secretive music industry in Lahore and Islamabad. In 1994, Junaid Jamshed published his first solo ‘Junaid of Vital Signs’. The album’s title was changed to Tumhara Aur Mera Naam by the creators. After withdrawing from Vital Signs in the year 1998, Jamshed released his second solo collection, ‘Us Raah Par’ in the year 1999.
